This intuitive tool allows you to upload your class grade sheet, and it will instantly calculate the average of the top scores for each student, adding the result in a new column for you.

How to Use It (Step-by-Step):

1. Prepare Your Excel File: Make sure your student grades are in an Excel (.xlsx) file. Each student should be in a separate row, and their pop quiz scores should be in consecutive columns.

2. Upload Your File: Drag and drop your Excel file onto the upload area on the app, or click to browse and select it from your computer.

3. Set Your Calculation Rules:

   • Pop Quiz Start Column: Enter the column number where the quiz scores begin (e.g., if scores start in column F, enter 6).

   • Pop Quiz End Column: Enter the column number where the quiz scores end.

   • Number of ‘Best Of’: Specify how many of the top scores you want to average (e.g., enter 2 to get the average of the best 2 quizzes).

4. Calculate & Download: Click the “Calculate Results” button. The final grades will appear in a table on the screen. You can then click “Download as Excel” to save a new spreadsheet with the calculated average included.
